“ Brand: Persil / Type: Dishwasher Tablets / Category: Cleaning & Disinfectant „
Was lucky enough to have been given a box of these tablets from my new partner, and i really think that they are great.
Come in a easy to open box with Persil written on the front, and they are measured dosing, containing forty tablets, and boy do they smell and wash great.
I use two tablets for every wash load, but i did try economising with one tablet and to be honest they still did my washing great.
What i liked about these persil tablets (biologicial) they really clean and i havnt noticed any stains left on my washing, and because i just wanted to try them out to see what their performance was like, well they really do wash your clothes clean, and the whites white, and the smell having not deliberately added any comfort the smell staid in the clothing even when dry.
Keep out of reach of children, for obvious reasons. I put mine into a little stocking container, but rinse your hands well if you do touch the tablets.
Ill have to get a box of these for my daughter as to be honest with her children she gets a lot of washing, and as little ones get dirty its a natural thing.
I loved the smell and the performance, i will definetely be using this again as my future soap powder.
1.52 kgs. Plus they do give a money back guarentee on the side of the box. Easy to open tear perforated edge so you can get to the tablets without ripping open the whole box
Place the tablets inside the little netting washing bag provided and on top of the
wash load at the back of the drum, then wash as usual, great clean clothes and great smelling clothes.
The box also gives you a persil careline phone number in case you need any advice but it does give you clear instructions on the back of the box, i use two tablets per wash. It does provide a fizzing action in your wash, for a much deeper clean, and i am so pleased with the results.
Thanks for reading and rating my reviews x.
The latest sales ploy by detergent manufacturers seems to be to cash in on our dislike of, or lack of time for, ironing clothes. Now, I don’t actually hate ironing, but anything that makes an admittedly tedious task quicker and easier has got to be worth checking out, wouldn’t you agree? Enter new Persil Biological Washing Tablets with Crease Release.I quote from the box: “Persil Biological Tablets with Crease Release leave your clothes clean and easier to iron.” What Is Crease Release? The box doesn’t give much away. It just refers to “a smoothing softener to make ironing easier.” How To Use Persil Tablets with Crease Release. The tablets come wrapped in twos, which should be sufficient for a load of light/normally-soiled clothes. You may need to use three tablets for very heavy soiling (e.g. overalls) They are white with a blue layer, which I assume is the Crease Release stuff. Place the tablets in the washing net provided and then put on top of the load towards the back of the machine drum. Do not put the tablets in the powder-dispensing drawer. The tablets should dissolve and disperse evenly throught the wash. (I had no problems here, although I have read of other members’problems with Persil tablets not dissolving properly.) Persil Tablets with Crease Release are a biological product containing enzymes and a brightening agent. They are, therefore, not suitable for cleaning clothes made of wool, silk or delicate items. Nor are they recommended for handwashing, soaking clothes prior to washing, or for use in your machine’s Quick Wash programme. Precautions Keep Persil Tablets with Crease Release out of the reach of children. People with sensitive skin should avoid prolonged contact with the tablets or the water in which they are dissolved, and should rinse their hands thoroughly after use. Keep the tablets wrapped
and in their box prior to use. For best results, do not overload your machine. The Verdict I have used Persil tablets before (Persil Performance and Persil ColourCare). I have no complaints about the product’s abilities in cleaning. As I would have expected, Persil Tablets with Crease Release performed equally as well in the cleaning stakes. Also, the tablets have a fresh, pleasant smell which left my clothes also smelling fresh. No complaints there, then. And now comes the crunch. Did I feel that the product had, as promised, left my clothes smooth and easier to iron? No, not especially. I was concerned to see a note on the box saying; “For best easy ironing results use Persil Crease Release together with Comfort Easy Iron.” Bit of a cop-out, that! Surely if Persil Crease Release tablets already contain a fabric softener, it should not be necessary to use an additional liquid softener. Otherwise, what’s the point? I can get the same results using any other washing tablets. Will I Buy Persil Tablets with Crease Release Again? As I have already said, I have no complaint about the cleanliness of my clothes, nor about how fresh they smelled. But since this product is more expensive than my usual product, I probably won’t buy them again (unless on special offer, as they are at the time of writing, at Wilko’s.) Certainly, I’m not going to throw away my iron yet. My honest opinion is that Persil tablets with Crease Release are a bit of a gimmick. A box of 18 Persil tablets with Crease Release (sufficient for 9 washes based on normal soiling) retails at about £2.65.
I have been brought up on Persil. My mother always used their powder and subsequently liquids. The powder and liquid were always somewhat of a gamble on the measuring front though, but tablets changed all that. You simply removed two tablets from their packet and place them in the net bag that is provided with every box. You then place these at the back of the washing load and hey presto, away you go! The cleaning power of these tablets is superb, and there is very little that they don't manage to clean first time. They are also incredibly easy to use, as I said, negating the need for measuring out. The only disadvantage that I have found is with my new washing machine. It is a low-fill machine, i.e. it only takes in the exact amount of water it needs. I have been finding residue of tablets still in the bag after the wash, and this must affect the cleaning. My washing machine engineer has recommended returning to powder or liquid through the drawer dispenser. The new Persil capsules seem to be better though, and they can still be placed directly in the machine.
I bought these tablets when they first came out as I wanted to see what all the hype was about.I have tried all three boxes non-biological,performance and colour and have been really surprised by them. They get all my clothes clean even the ones my son gets paint on as he attends nusery they remove every trace of dirt and leaves a fresh smell on the clothes. As a mum of two I find it easy with the tablets as you just pop them in the net provided with the tablets and put in to the washing machine not the draw as they are only made for the drum putting them in the draw could damage your washing machine. The tablets come in boxes of eighteen tablets which gives you nine washes and boxes of thirty-six which gives you eighteen washes . I buy the boxes of eighteen as I wash every couple of days and have four peoples clothes to wash so I use a lot of tablets. I did used to use soap powder but after using these tablets I would not ever use soap powder again as I find the tablets get the clothes cleaner as they get to the heart of the wash where as soap powders go in to the draw and tend to leave the draw sticky . I would recommend using these tablets to everyone.
I bought a box of Persil tablets when they were first on the market and were being discounted. They have spent a year or so sitting on the top of our kitchen cupboards, using space, so I decided to use one the other day. Unfortunately I had this brain wave for a wash that I put on over night. I loaded the machine, rummaged around for the little bag, put in one tablet, switched the machine on and went to bed. I then spent what seemed like the next hour listening to the tablet clonking around in the drum before it dissolved, making a mental note to use washing liquid next time. I'm a fan of detergent tablets for a dishwasher. Then they might not dissolve properly and end up clogging up the drain. However, they do it quietly. With a washing machine, it takes too long for them to dissolve and in that time, they are just too noisy. The washing performance of the tablet seemed OK - it wasn't a particularly dirty load of washing, and one tablet instead of the recommended two did fine. I'd definitely think twice about paying the full going rate for these. A washing liquid isn't much more messy to use and it also lets you adjust exactly how much you want to use. It also means there is no chance of getting lumps of undissolved tablet in with your clothes.
My sister bought me 4 packs of Persil Peformance Tablets as part of my birthday present last year as she has access to a cash and carry warehouse. Strange present you may think but we're a family like that - we do like practical presents - but I digress.... I usually use Ariel tablets so I didn't know what to expect from Persil but I have been very impressed so far. The washing has been just as clean using Persil as it was using Ariel and I used to think that they were exceptional. There's only two of us in the house but the washing basket still fills up very quickly, and it isn't all my doing I might add, so any washing tablets which do a good job are OK by me. Persil Performance tablets should be placed 2 at a time in a little net inside the washing drum, although I confess that I rarely bother with the net, I usually just throw the tablets in the washer. If I am only doing a small amount of washing, perhaps a half wash, then I only use one tablet and it cleans perfectly well. The washing has been very clean whether I have used a hot or cool wash and there is no sticky residue in the drum. They smell nice too. I can't say whether there will be any problem with fading as I probably haven't used the product for long enough to be able to say. I have been using Persil since last November and haven't noticed any ill effects as yet. As I didn't actually pay for these tablets I can't say how much they cost but I have since looked in my local supermarket to find that the prices are comparable with the other leading brands and a bit higher than the supermarket own brand. I shall wait until they are on special offer somewhere and stock up again! So far so good - I can't fault Persil Performance tablets!
New lower price pack!! How I love the sound of that. I change my washing powder often depending what offer is on and usually try to keep away from tablets. I was poorly last week so I sent hubby dear to the shops and instead of buying a powder he brought these! I was abit wary of using them but I realise that he did something right for a change!! He got the 18 tablet box which lasts up to 9 washes. These are two colour tablets white and blue and contain an antiageing for clothes. YIPPEE!! My favourite trousers wont fade in the wash now!!! They are very easy to use, you unwrap them from the ir packs of two and put them in the enclosed net bag. Put it in the washing machine on top of the clothes near the back of the drum and away you go. Very quick, simple and effective. I found all stains came out brilliantly especially pasta bolognese which my kids seem to like wearing!! My hubbys white shirts did not look there usual dingy grey colour and they smell lovely. Excellent for all us busy mums whose kids seem to love muck and grime!!! Our box cost us £2.89 from Tescos available most stores.
Until now i have not been a great fan of washing powder tablets. I've found the colour version of these from Persil to be difficult to dissolve and messy. I'm not sure quite what persuaded me to buy these given my dislike of the things usually - maybe that's all there was in the shop at the time, but whatever, these are totally different - it's hard to believe they're even made by the same company! Persil Performance tablets look different to the colour ones and dissolve beautifully, even in my hard water area. The smell they leave on your clothes is also much nicer than others I've used, and I'll definitely be using these again as they do an acceptable job of getting the clothes clean as well (a struggle in my house!) Apparently they also contain an anti-ageing agent - your guess is as good as mine quite what *that* means though, and how long you need to be washing your clothes for until you can see if it works..... no doubt the ads will be telling us more!
Persil biological performance tablets provide an effervescent fizzing action to the wash for an even deeper clean.
