Advantages: A liquid wash for delicates

Washing woollies is definitely not one of my strong points, over the years I have ended up with no end of jumpers that feel like you are wearing chain- mail.
Now I sometimes get the grandchildren's woollies thrown into my wash basket too if they have been for the night and I like to think that they are well- washed and feel soft enough for their young delicate skin.
The modern biological powders are all well and good, for the most part they see off the dirt and grime but can be a little unkind to young or sensitive skin.

Persil silk and Wool is a Unilever product, it does work out fairly expensive at £3.18 for a 750ml bottle, but having said that a bottle goes a long long way.
I regularly hand wash, it is therapeutic! If the jumper is a particularly good one then I do make the effort to hand wash it and try to keep it in shape and good condition.
The absolute beauty of this Persil liquid is that you can use it in the washing machine, so rather than fill your tub with biological suds you can create a gentle environment for the more delicate things to be washed in.
This liquid has no brightening agents, bleach or enzymes, so you are assured that the clothes will be treated with the utmost care.

Although the bottle has it own measuring top I tend to use my initiative and just pour a little liquid into the dispenser drawer. If I am hand washing using the liquid then I only use the tiniest of drops, its sufficient enough to clean and freshen items well.
When you have used the thick perfumed liquid the clothing smells beautiful and that fragrance and freshness lingers on and on.

If you have underwear and nightwear to wash then the liquid is the perfect solution making it feel quite soft and sensuous.

I had previously used Woolite, another product for washing wool and dedicates. Woolite comes in a few pence cheaper than Persil Silk and Wool, it has a fragrance and does the job admirably but I feel that Persil have the edge.
Persil have a history of producing first class laundry products, they have been used and trusted by many for years.

I like and admire this Persil product and would willingly recommend it to any of you.
