Persil Small and Mighty

A few months ago I took part in an online survey for washing detergent. As part of the survey I was asked to test Persil small and mighty. I was sent 2 full sized bottles of non -biological liquid and was only too happy to test the product. Here are my thoughts. I tend to use a variety of washing detergents; usually buying what ever is on offer at my local supermarket. My first choice however has always been Persil, but only when the price is right! I have been a convert of Persil Liquid Detergents for a while now, I find it cleans better than the powder detergents do. I first bought this product when it first came out and was on Special Offer in Sainsburys so I thought it was worth a try. And I am pleased to say I am now a convert to Persil Small and Mighty. The name of the product kind of says it all I guess. The bottle of detergent is a lot smaller than other Persil liquid detergents, and this is because it a concentrated detergent. Persil Small & Mighty Bio is a next generation liquid detergent which is 2x concentrated. Small & Mighty comes in a 730 ml plastic bottle measuring 10in/26cm in height which is half the size of the current dilute liquid bottles, The lid is an easy to screw off type and the bottle has an hourglass shape which makes it easier to grip. I find the smaller bottle size and shape more convenient compared to the bulkier dilute bottles especially for storing in the cupboard. I have seen this product being heavily advertised but thought it was just another fad, I mean the adverts show all those clothes flying out of the bottle and to be honest the last thing I need is more clothes flying around my house! Over the years washing detergents have changed a lot from the old fashioned powder, we have seen tablets, gel capsules and liquids and all promising us that they are the best. After filling in a survey on line re. washing powders I was chosen to trial the new Persil small and mighty. A week or so later two bottles arrived. I was pleased that it was non-bio as my three year old daughter has eczema and the Doctor has recommeded only using non-bio for all her clothes, towels etc. I loved the size of the bottle, smaller than normal as its 2 x concentrated, it was light and not to tall to fit in the cupboard upright. It measures approx. 10" high by 4" wide and would make shopping lighter to carry home than a normal box of powder.
