As a stay at home mum I am in charge of all the household chores which is fine by me. One of the things I ALWAYS seem to be doing with my time is the washing. I do about three loads a day and even then I never seem to get to the bottom of the washing basket. I had been using the little gel caps but after receiving a sample of Persil Small and Mighty I really liked it and decided to give a big bottle a go. The gel caps seemed to go really quickly as you use one cap per wash but with liquid I think you can tailor it a bit more so if I have a really small wash to do I can just use a little bit of liquid then I use the regular amount when I am doing a big wash. This way, with all the washing I do I can be a bit more economical and try and save some money.

Persil small and mighty is a concentrated liquid detergent so in order to wash with it I just pour it into my draw at the top of my washing machine and it makes its way to the clothes through there. According to the packaging it is 2x concentrated so that means it takes half the water to make it. This washing liquid is quite thick when you pour it into the machine and it has a very nice fresh clean smell about it too which I like.

Persil small and mighty is said to clean tough stains even in a quick wash and that it works very well on greasy and oily stains. I often have to do a quick wash and dry when my husband needs a work shirt quickly or my kids need special clothes and I find they do come nice and clean with this liquid. I also am a big fan of the stain removal power of this liquid. As everybody knows, kids can be and get very dirty and as I am feeding my little boy at the moment he always ends up with red spaghetti sauce or other such stains on his clothes. This liquid gets out the stains really well, even if I have left them in the washing basket for a day or too so I have been really impressed with the cleaning power.

I buy the 1 litre bottles which it says on the bottle lasts for 28 washes and I think this is a fair estimation although if I do quite a lot of small washes I can get a few more out of this bottle. The 1 litre bottle costs £6.40 which I think is very good value.
