Persil Performance Biological is a one of 'Levers' many brands which is highly recommended for everybody's laundry.
I paid £1.79 for a 1.215 kg box. It states on the front of the box it's for up to 15 washes - based on light/normal soiling in soft/medium water areas. It has a hygenic cleaning, and is reassuringly safe. On the top of the box, it says that it's a new lighter powder, and is easy to open. There's an easily pulled tab on the top, with a 'pull here' sign on it.
The fragrance is gentle, fresh and long-lasting on your clothes. On the back is Sue's tip. Sue Jarvis is a careline advisor and gives you tips on your washing.
You can either put a measure of powder into the draw, or into a ball and place it in the machine. Although they do recommend putting the powder in the drawer and not in the ball. It has a stain release system, which is specially formulated to clean modern made-made fabrics.
It contains less that 5% soap, polycarboxylates and phosphonate. 5% - 15% anionic surfactant, non-ionic surfactants, and 15% - 30% phosphate, oxygen and an oxygen based bleaching agent. It says that it also contains a brightening agent and enzymes.
On the side of the box it gives you information to read before doing your washing, like always check the labels and follow the washing instructions. It tells you how much to use in soft/medium and hard water areas.
It cleans your clothes well, and I found it very good on removing marks and light stains, leaving your laundry looking and smelling as new! It's gentle on your clothes, and I found it to do a worthwhile job on getting my clothes clean! Definitely worth the money!

Although this is not my regular washing powder, I do like using this. It's a reliable brand, not badly priced, and th
e fragrance lasts on your laundry.
