How exciting. A review on Washing Up Liquid. I admit I do have a dishwasher, but occassionaly I do some dishes by hand. Persil is the choice for me, as it is slightly cheaper than Fairy and I find that supermarket versions can be a bit runny.

You buy Persil in a 500ml bottle. There are so many versions of this about - Original, Berry, Eucalyptus, Lemon, Citrus and the one I have here just now Green Tea and Lime.

A bottle normally costs 85p. This is not normally on offer. The lst offer I saw was 3 for £2, and although you are saving a bit money I think usually people tend to buy this once and you don't need to buy it again for a while.

The bottle is a clear plastic and you see the liquid through it. It has a grey flip lid. The label is a light green with the writing in red and an odd kind of star shaped splat, which is an even lighter green colour.

As I said the liquid is quite thick and you only need a little squirt into the hot water to give a good foam. The smell is nice, fruity, clean smelling and this gives a sparkle to the dishes.

It's hard to say how long this product lasts, as I only do dishes now and again, but I would guess that a bottle could last maybe 6 weeks for an average family usage.

A good buy and it does what it says
