Why, oh why, I ask myself, do good brand names play around with their products and end up making them worse, instead of better. It happened with Special K when they converted to bigger flakes instead of the tiny ones and the taste was ruined. Um! Sorry getting carried away on another topic. Well, what they have done to Persil washing ... Read the complete review

persil washing up liquid- persil green tea and lime has a lovely smell to it and lasts for a long time but there is a negative side to it. the liquid comes out to fast and you end up with to much washing up liquid in the sink and there are bubbles everywhere, and when you put the bootle down the liquid ends up all over the worktops, and then you ... I must be one of the saddest creatures on the planet. I have a confession to make and it is one that many people find rather strange indeed. I have a rather odd obsession with washing dishes. This is something that most people I have come across to date absolutely hate doing. Particularly when you have just prepared a huge Sunday roast for example ... Read the complete review

Finding a washing up liquid that can be gentle on the skin yet effective on the dishes is a bit of a task in itself. I probably make the problem worse because I just love using plenty of liquid. Recently I tried some of Lidl`s washing up liquid, it worked well, it had a decent smell but on my hands it acted like a paint stripper. Sure enough ... Read the complete review

I first came across this product by accident. I have since as long as I can remember used the cheap Asda smart price washing up liquid as I just thought what's the difference as long as it cleans? One day I ran out and the local shop was closed so I asked a neighbour if I could borrow a bit, she handed me a bottle of Persil washing up ... Read the complete review

After running out of washing up liquid mid-week, about two weeks ago i phoned my partner and asked him to pick up a bottle on the way home, he asked me what make and i said surprise me, to be honest im not really bothered what type i use as long as it gets the job done properly. Anyway he turned up with a bottle of 'Persil , lemon zest. ... Read the complete review

How exciting. A review on Washing Up Liquid. I admit I do have a dishwasher, but occassionaly I do some dishes by hand. Persil is the choice for me, as it is slightly cheaper than Fairy and I find that supermarket versions can be a bit runny. You buy Persil in a 500ml bottle. There are so many versions of this about - Original, Berry, ... Read the complete review

Persil Washing Up Liquid! I prefer supermarket Own Brands!! This washing up liquid is by far my favourite! I purchased this from my local supermarket and it was one of the most expensive ones on the shelf. I thought I would try it and had high expectations of this product. The liquid came in a clear plastic container. ... Read the complete review

Now, I'm not a big fan of washing up, but then who is, but in my time I have done way more than my fair share of it, having worked as a kitchen porter in several kitchens, and undertaking the majority of it at home. I have washed more pots, pans, dishes plates and cutlery then I can shake a stick at, and I would say I'm quite proficient at ... Read the complete review

Lets face it, washing up isn't exactly the most exciting job in the world is it, yet it is an essential one that needs to be done at least twice daily. These days more and more people are turning to dishwashers to take away the hard scrubbing work required by washing by hand. But what about us poor souls who can't have one for one reason or ... OK, so I'm turning into my mother. I'm about to sit here an extol the virtues of not Gap nor Versace but....... Citrus 'flavour' Persil Washing Up Liquid. Better get going then before the excitement causes me to have a heart attack! lol This is the first time I've ever used Persil (I'm usually a Fairy girl myself!) ... Read the complete review

I had to go shopping today.I had a stack load of dirty pots and no washing up liquid.I could of left them to fester, but i don't like to see my kitchen looking like a dosshole. So off i trotted to my local village Costcutters and to my great relief,my usual nasty washing up liquid was out of stock. So i opted for an unusual shaped ... Read the complete review

One thing you need over Christmas is a good supply of washing up liquid. In fact it was last Christmas that I discovered Persil Washing up liquid, up until then I always thought that Persil was only good for washing clothes. In truth nothing could part me from beloved Fairy. That was until I went to my local co-op and they had none. My eyes lit ... Read the complete review

For years I have used nothing else but Fairy liquid but thought I would give Persil Naturgel (Citrus) a try as it was on special offer at my local supermarket. I will not be going back to my old brand! I found the aroma and the effectiveness of the liquid to be fantastic. Being extremely economically minded, my only complaint is the size ... I've always been a fairly strictly Fairy girl as a rule, in the past it could always be relied on to do the job it was intended for perfectly. But for along time I've felt that it hadn't been so good, I hate having to wash things twice and so I decided to try something new. I've used Persil in the past and been quite ... Those of you with children or those of you who were once children may remember the magic porridge pot. Normally I buy Fairy or Morning Fresh washing up liquid but today I spotted Persil Citrus Burst and decided to give it a go. It comes in a nice bright orange bottle which co-ordinates quite nicely with my kitchen.(like that matters) It does all the usual stuff that washing up liquid is supposed to do, ie make bubbles but it smells ... I have had enough of our usual washing-up liquid. First, I discovered that it clogs in the top, so you have to take it apart to get the bottom half out. Then, after one of my kids decided to play with most of a bottle, I discovered it doesn’t water down well either! So - brand loyalty destroyed, partner ill in bed, and off I went ... The Citrus one is my choice from the range, but I have tried 3 of them and they are all good. It costs 68p for a 500ml bottle of this washing up liquid. It is also concentrated, which is good as I don't need to use a lot. The bottle says it dissolved grease quickly and this is true. Usually when I have greasy pans or trays I ... There is little I can add to the other opinions on this product except this.... Ladies beware!!! It kind of gets to you.
