Plasti-kote spray on is easy to use and it comes in a host of colours ranging from metallic blues to ordinary plain gloss black. This paint is waterproof, heat proof, corrosion proof and the colour won't fade. So it is useful for lots of different jobs around the house.

You do need to mask areas off carefully with tape and newspaper before spraying or the fine spray will get everywhere. I find the spray cans useful for larger area but plasti-kote also do small jars of conventional 'brush-on' paint in the same range of colours. This is exactly the same as the spray but much easier to work with in very small areas.

KITCHEN:
Cupboard doors, light switches and battered washing machine are now co-ordinated to match the curtains.

LOUNGE:
Old, tatty stone fireplace that was all discoloured looks absolutely wonderful painted in 'farmhouse blue'.( Remember, it is heatproof but not fireproof so use discretion here!) That took one spray can at £6 and a jar of the brush-on variety at £1.99. I call that excellent value. A new fireplace for £7.99.

DINING ROOM:
Light fitting was discoloured and it now co-ordinates with the handles on the dresser doors and light switches.

BEDROOM:
Old bedroomn furniture has bright new painted handles which match door handles and curtain pole.

HALLWAY:
Front door has been badly scratched by my dog attempting to drag the postman through the letter box. I was able to match the colour and repair the dame with filler and Plasti-kote.

BATHROOM:
All new fittings with metallic blue trim, matching handles and skirtings.

I really enjoy using this product and always make sure that I store any leftover paint carefully incase I need to do repairs to my handywork or I come up with another idea.
