In 2007 we gutted our kitchen and replaced everything...including the floor, a beautiful solid oak floor with an antique finish. The problem is, our kitchen is a well trodden route through to the rest of the house house from the garden. With a husband who has new hobby...'the vegetable patch' coming in in his wellies, a dog who has followed him to the vegetable patch following him in and a cat who gets into all sorts of everything running in and out it takes a bit of a hammering! You notice I don't mention myself here?? I am the one cooking and spilling things all over the lovely floor whilst all this goes on around me! Needless to say, this floor needs regular ... We have laminated flooring which is good but it does half show up any marks on it so it is often down on my hands and knees to wipe it. So when we saw Pledge Wet Wipes Cleaning System advertised on the television we thought that it was such a good idea that we would buy one to see how good it is. We got it in Tescos for £5.95 The first thing upon opening the box is to firmly screw the 5 sweeper pieces together as they all undo to fit in the box. Next open the wipe out (there are 2 free in the box) and put the sweeper head in the centre of the cloth. You then have to push the edges of the wipe into the grippers of the sweeper. ... New toy. Since I bought the Pledge Dust and go I have not had to do the dusting for weeks. It's like having a new toy in the house. When I say I need to do some house work this afternoon then, up he jumps out of the arm chair, under the sink to get out ?. The New Toy. 5mins fiddle and then dusting ? job done. I will not be rushing to have a go at ? The New Toy the less I have to do the better. I am sure the novelty will wear off in due course. The only thing is please Pledge could you put a mute in the handle to dampen the singing into the end? ... Read the complete review

I have recently bought a Pledge Dust and go and must admit I am not that impressed. When you buy one it comes in a fairly small box so easy to get home (rather than a Mop), It fixes together easily with the handle being in 4 screw parts and then the flat base which you attach the cleaning cloths to. The set included 10 cleaning cloths and cost me 7.95 for the complete set. It says it works on hard floors and gets rid of dust, dog hairs etc. As we have got laminate flooring I thought I would find it very useful but although it does do as the box says I find myself still having to get the dust pan and brush out as well because the dust and go doesn’t pick up ... Okay, maybe that’s going a bit too far – let’s face it, housework is never going to be more fun than clicking away on dooyoo, is it? But I am so impressed by this new invention that I simply have to write about it. Being severely allergic to housework, I am always on the lookout for anything that will help make mind-numbing chores like dusting and vacuuming quicker and easier for me. Well, Pledge Dust & Go does just that! It looks so simple, it’s hard to believe at first. For £9.99 you buy your starter kit, which consists of one sweeper and 10 dry disposable dusting cloths. The sweeper takes about 30 seconds to ... Read the complete review
