Advantages: Dust sticks to the wipes as it should

Disadvantages: Too expensive for everyday use

I saw my friend use Pledge Dust & Go wipes recently and they looked so easy that I bought a pack at the supermarket (£2.79 for 20 cloths). Considering to dust my front room and dining room I'd probably need 10 wipes...that works out very expensive.

PACAKAGING ~ The pack is blue and pink, and on the front Pledge Dust & Go is written. They pack is like a babywipes pack with resealable plastic cover, so they don't dry up in the cupboard.

DESCRIPTION ~ Each cloth is white and approx 30x20 cm per sheet. They are designed with criss-crossy fabric, which is to trap the dust as you sweep over your furniture...preventing you just moving it around, or the dust flying up in the air. The smell is flowery (hence the name 'Bouquet Fresh') and it quite strong...however it is a nice fresh smell, so no complaints there.

HOW DO YOU USE THEM? ~ You use the cloths like a regular duster, without having to spray the cloth or furniture before dusting. The cloths can also be attached to a sweeper, however I have not done this yet. The cloths can also be used on both sides, which I do, and the dust pickup action is still as strong on the 2nd side.

HOW ARE THEY DIFFERENT FROM NORMAL DUSTERS? ~ Well, the packet advised that these wipes removes common household allergens that is trapped in dust, ie...pollen, dust-mite allergens, and pet dander! Sounds good to me. My husband suffers from the dust with constant sneezing, however, these pick up the dust so well that it helps keep his allergy under control.

VERDICT ~ As I wiped them across my wooden dining room table, you could clearly see no trails of dust left behind, which is a plus point. They don't leave the surfaces greasy, which I tend to find with regular household polish sprays. I probably would by these again to keep in the cupboard for quick polishing, however for a cheaper cleaning spree, I still prefer polish sprays and a duster. I have therefore given Pledge Dust & Go 4 stars...it lost one star due to being overpriced.

I have had no adverse reactions to my skin whilst using these, and I do have sensitive skin. So they are gentle.

Summary: Handy to have in your cupboard, but expensive
