Just another cleaning gadget right? WRONG!
My mum, as you may have seen from other reviews I've made, is quite a fan of these cleaning gadgets you see. I am always of the opinion that a cloth and spray is adequate but I can certainly see the positives of this nifty little aid.
Firstly, the price is quite steep, because you have to keep buying refills. I find that one refill is enough to dust the house once over, if it's just averagely dusty. Anything more than that and you'd need to refills. It means it can be more costly to dust, but actually if you consider the time you save, it isn't such a bad deal.
This is just so light and easy to use that you can majestically sweep it across your surfaces in half the time as before. The other great thing is that you only need to use one hand instead of one for the cloth, one for the polish!
A downside is that it does feel a little flimsy and as though it could snap. It has never happened but if you got it in the wrong angle it's possible... Changing the dusters is as easy as putting a sock on, so if you can do that, then don't worry, this is a piece of cake.
You can find these in most supermarkets for maybe £3 for refills and a little more for the initial kit. I think they are the best thing since sliced bread and I'm glad we have them because I won't be going back to my duster ever again. This is value for money and looks kind of cute too:)
Summary: an excellent helper around the house
