Pledge Furniture Polish

When it comes to dust and shine my woodwork, I rely on an old favourite. Just as I trust my carpets to Shake N Vac due to a long personal history begiinning in childhood, I place my trust in this for my finished wood products. Pledge is a product of S.C Johnson Wax, and has been made well over the 37 years I have been familar with it. Just seeing the name and a tin, regardless of type, I automatically get a mental whiff of the lemon scent that used to emanate from that 1970's tin of childhood. I have been using this furtnire polish for a very long time now and have pretty much stuck to it as it works very well and leaves the furniture and room smelling wonderful. You can buy this in a few varieties at different prices, but they all come in 250ml aluminium aerosol cans: Clean & Dust: 97p Natural Aerosol: £1.30 Spring Time: £1.30 I have only used the Clean & Dust variety and the Spring Time polish. I love wood, its natural, beautiful and gives a touch of class to any room. However wood needs care to keep it looking shiny and sleek and so this is where my favorite wood polish comes in... I'm no great fan of doing the housework but it has to be done - some days I really don't have the time or the inclination - luckily I have some days when I'm in the mood & will 'blitz' the house & do those jobs I've been putting off. We housewives are martyrs to the cause, a new product is launched and we flock like sheep to try it. S C Johnson have been making furniture polish for donkeys years, so they have had plenty of practise. The household budget has to stretch to a decent polish or it`s not worth dirtying the duster. I wouldn't put dusting down as one of my favourite tasks but it has to be done now and again.
