Advantages: It does exactly what it should

Pledge furniture polish comes in a variety of scents - I am currently using and therefore reviewing the "springtime" one.

Made by hygiene giant Johnson this is currently costing £0.85 for a 200ml can in Tesco and comes in a spray can which you simply push down on the lid to spray.

Having put on my breathing mask I decided to test this out in my teenage sons bedroom so I slowly ventured in!

As with all polish you simply spray onto the surface and wipe over with a duster. I prefer to spray onto the cloth when dusting ornaments as I feel they can get "spray bound" otherwise. I was able to use this on almost all of my sons room apart from his LCD television which requieres a special cloth along with plasma ones. The smell is pleasant enough - Ican't say it reminded me of the spring, it mainly smells of polish but it does leave a fresh smelling room for quite a while after you have dusted it.

This does leave furniture with a nice shine and soft feel and after using it week on week the furniture does not appear to have any build up of polish. My opinion is that this works better than cheaper alternatives by picking up more dust first time with very little effort involved.

As with all aerosols precautions need to be taken to keep the bottle away from sunlight, high temeperatures, sources of ignition and small children - If anyone can help me explain to my teenage son this does not apply to him I would be extremely grateful!
