I bought a Power Devil Orbital Sander, from Screwfix, last year. Just recently we had to have a new Hot Water Tank put in. The Hot Water tank was about 5 cm taller then the old tank and so I lost a whole shelf in my airing cupboard. So I got to work, using my sander to sand down pallet wood, from a pallet that I dismantled, the finished wood had a lovely smooth surface with rounded off edges. Now I have a new lovely finished off shelf in my airing cupboard just above the remaining shelf, it hardly took any time. Would have taken a long time by hand.

The Orbital sander uses Black and Decker 1/3rd sheet with extraction holes for dust collection.

Power Devil Power Tools seem to be a reasonable price, and very well made.
