Pritt stick is probably one of the most famous glues. It works a bit like a lip stick where you pull off the cap at the top, twist the bottom and the glue stick winds up. You can then rub the glue end along whatever you need to glue without needing to touch it and get gluey fingers.

The glue stick is white but dries clear. It also has quite a pleasant, fresh fragrance and is not at all over powering like some other glues.

It is a practical and easy to use glue. The downsides are that it is not designed for fiddly or intricate glueing and it is really only suitable for gluing paper and card rather than other textiles. The glue stick once opened does also have a tendency to dry out and go rubbery after a while even if properly sealed.

The price generally ranges from £1 - £2 for a medium sized tube.
