Pritt Stick - available in 11g, 22g, 43g or 90g or packs
The Pritt stick is a staple of any craft box, or in my case any home that accidentally bought really expensive gummed envelopes because who licks them these days? According the the website of Pritt the product has been producing more sticks per stick since 1969, and is the nations favourite glue stick.
The glue stick comes in a white tube with lid that needs pulling off, and a black wind up attachment at the bottom of the tube. The branding Pritt stick is emblazoned on the side of the packaging in a mixture of red, black and blue.
It is suitable for children's use and complies with European laws on that front, (EN 71). The product os made form 90% sustainable sources, according to the wonders of the world wide web.
Right down to business - it's a white glue that comes in a tube, which dries clear. It's easy to apply with the smaller 'tubes', as you can easily direct it. The mammoth 90g tube may be more difficult to use though. I have found it invaluable since it's arrival into the house, not just for the aforementioned envelopes, but all of those little mishaps that would normally be rectified with the odd staple (I'm thinking of those wonderful university projects).
I would definitely recommend this product as it is child safe, and so very useful to have lying around.
Summary: It's useful to have
