Does the job, but so expensive these days!

Advantages: Sticks neatly, no lumps or clumps
Disadvantages: Too expensive to buy if you use it a lot
When I had my baby I got some mama and papa vouchers, and one of the things I bought was a memory book, which you can record things in and stick pictures in to remember special things like their first photo. I needed something to stick my photos into this book, so I bought this pritt stick.
I got this glue from Tesco's, it is a small tube, 20g, and I paid about £1.80 for it, which I though was very expensive for what it is. I was going to buy a cheaper version, but didn't want to risk my photos not being stuck in properly, so decided on the proper brand.
I have used pritt sticks ever since I was a child, we used them all the time in school and I loved art so had them at home too, using it for all sorts.
Pritt stick is a tube of glue, not a runny glue, its a stick and when you turn the end of it, the stick of glue moves up the tube slightly, so you can use the glue. You can choose how much glue to want out but how much you turn the end of it. You should only turn it so only a bit of glue comes out the end, when I was younger I used to turn it so the hole stick of glue would come out and it would then just break off when I used it!
To use this glue, you just glide the stick along the area you want to stick, and then press it down, to seal it. When I came to use this pritt stick to stick my photos in my book, I found I had to press down quite hard on the stick to get sufficient glue on the back of my photograph to stick it in securely enough. It didn't come out all clumpy and sticky like I remember it did when I was younger, it did come out smooth and very thinly, but made me feel like there wasn't enough and it wasn't sticky enough, so ended up rubbing loads on. It has definately improved in quality from what I remember it to be like years ago
My photos though, are definitely stuck securely in my memory book. They have not budged yet, and the photo is not lumpy with glue underneath it, they are stuck in really neatly, which is what I wanted.
I hope this glue lasts, as I have first Christmas, first holiday photos to stick in yet, and don't want to pay nearly £2 for another tube! It looks perfect in the tube still at the moment, just like new, and that's after having it for 3 months. So as long as it lasts, and my photos stay stuck in my book, I am happy with this pritt stick and would buy again, although it is very expensive for such a small tube.
Summary: A great glue to stick paper/photos etc
