Advantages: Durable, clear measurements.

Disadvantages: Spout isn't as accurate as it could be.

I bought my first Pyrex jug when I got my own home when I was buying home things in the kitchen department, I didn't make a conscious decision to buy this specific make of jug to me at the time it was just a jug.

Anyway somewhere along the way we accumulated a plastic jug which is so scratched, stained and slightly melted, which is why I have come to love my Pyrex jug.

I didn't really find anything special about this jug infact I thought the spout, the way it poured to be a little dodgy, like I found I had more spillages using the Pyrex jug which is why I preferred to use the plastic jug, but since I have been using the Pyrex jug more mainly because I couldn't be bothered to wash up the other one, I have grown to love it.

The measurements on the side of the jug are in red making them clear to read, this is very useful as the jug I was using before the measurements were the same colour of the jug making it slightly impossible.

It is made of a good thick glass meaning it isn't easily breakable, I've accidentally knocked this jug into the taps and other furnishings thinking it will be damaged but it's not its very durable.

I can use this jug safely in the microwave, it doesn't get scratched or stained and this is after having this jug for 3 years, so very good value for money if it seems as though its going to last a life time.

Summary: A good durable jug for life.
