Definitely worth the extra pennies (Pyrex Measuring Jug)

Advantages: easy to use, easy to clean, perfect for any kitchen

When I moved out I had the choice of either buying the value products that cost no more than a pound, or investing in something a little pricier that could go the extra mile. In the end I decided to go for the cheap option because I really didn't want to spend too much money. Oh how I regretted it.


At the next available opportunity I got rid of my hideous plastic jug that had been stained with gravy granules and got myself a pyrex jug. Sure it costs more, but in terms of value you certainly get more for your money. This is definitely a sturdy product that can withstand the microwave and the dishwasher, a definite plus.

I find that the markings are easy to read and the jug handle is sturdy enough that you don't feel the whole jug is about to wobble out of your hands, just like a cheaper plastic version might.

I often use mine to cook a cup a soup or something which requires microwave cooking with a measured amount of water or milk. That was it saves on washing up and you have a handle on your bowl to eat from!

Summary: an excellent addition for any kitchen
