Pyrex Ramekins are useful for both hot & cold starters and desserts and there are a variety of uses for them. I use these regularly and own 6 so that I may cater to many guests coming for dinner.

Pyrex Ramekins are made from glass or china and are toughened. They can withstand extreme hot or cold temperatures and they are fridge, freezer, oven, microwave & dishwasher safe which makes them ideal for making desserts up and then cooking them straight from the fridge or freezer and you can just throw them in to the dishwasher after use to get all those stubborn stains out of the fluted edging.

These are currently available from Amazon for £1.95 + postage but shop around as you can often find them on offer or for ridiculously cheap prices, especially the china ones. As I mentioned before there are a few different varieties available so you should be able to find one that matches your table décor.

I have used this for a variety of uses and they keep very well. My glass dishes still look just as good as when they were brand new and I have had them a couple of years now without any stains or chipping occurring. There are extremely hard wearing and can take plenty of knocks without any damage occurring. I think that these are an essential part of any dinner party even if just for putting olives or dips in or making that crème brulee!

I am rating these 5/5 as they are Pyrex and do the job perfectly. I've never had any complaints with these, well, apart from the fact that I can never seem to own enough as my family slowly but surely expands!

Summary: A fantastic Ramekin for many different cooking purposes.
