Advantages: Its a lean mean killing machine.

Disadvantages: Bad for planet and the insects it is sprayed at :-(

Ok I know that using a spray can is not very good for the environment but Mr king wasp had obviously organised a convention for flying animals in my front room and that was certainly not good for my personal environment. Before you all tell me how bad I am, I must tell you that this was not my first choice of pest prevention, I tried those plug things, a fly swat, I even tried an electric version of a fly swat but it didn't work nothing worked until I tried Raid.

I found the tin of raid in my local Sainsburys, it was located in the same aisle as laundry detergents. The 400ml can cost £2.29 which I thought was very good value especially as it works so well.
I did laugh when I saw the front of the tin, in big white letters it says "Kills bugs dead" it just tickled me.
Raid claim that one spray of it can kill wasps and other flying insects in seconds.

I got home and clearly more delegates had arrived and were settling in nicely in my kitchen and dining room too, what they weren't expecting was me and my new shiny tin of Raid. I set to work and although I am not proud of this fact, I felt quite satisfied when they started dropping like flies (sorry !!!) . It was true in less than a minute after spraying what must have been 25 flies and wasps and some other strange creature, they were gone.

What I really liked about raid was the fragrance, it wasn't the usual horrible smell it was nice like air freshener. It is also safe to use in the kitchen.

I would highly recommend this to anyone who doesn't enjoy flying insects invading their home, it is sad that it kills them and bad that it contributes to damaging our planet but even with these drawbacks I think it is brilliant.

Summary: Excellent insect spray, really does what it says on the tin.

I can not live without this, being very wasp phobic. I like being able to spray it round the door, then bolting till they are dead x

Apart from a couple of spiders, I've had no creepies at all entering my abode since I've been dotting cotton wool balls liberally soaked in citronella oil along my window ledges.

Will remember this if I need it because often the smell threatens to exterminate me instead of the pests!
