Advantages: Lethal, Works Well, Kills All Flying Insects (+ Even Ground Insects), Lasts Long
Disadvantages: Don't Breathe It In
Raid Fly And Wasp Killer is an excellent product aimed at destroying those annoying flies and wasps, which lurk in the house in the summer months. The 300ml can is bright blue and has a sparkling effect so it's really easy to spot on the shelf. I imagine this would somewhat attract flies towards the can before being killed.
The enormous yellow 'Raid' logo is above with the lightening bolt logo appearing to kill a fly just below. It says 'Fly & Wasp Killer' just below and says 'Kills Bugs Dead' too. The whole design looks rather fierce, which gives the product an effective look as if it really works - which it does.
The spray comes out at a fast rate and over a good area once you press down on the top. The spray is poisoness for the insects so the odour fills their lungs and kills them almost instantly as they cannot breathe. The shock of the spray actually hitting them helps to kill them quickly too and this can be used on the largest of insects including flying beetles and anything else.
A 300ml can costs around £2.00 and is available to buy from garden centres as well as supermarkets such as Tesco and Asda. It works really well and although the odour is poisoness to the flying insects, it doesn't smell too bad for us humans and it isn't harmful for us, but obviously don't breathe it in purposely. I'd recommend using it as it's very effective and will last long in your cupboard unless flies always infest you - perhaps you should so some cleaning or check the cupboards for rotting bananas!
