“ Household Product „
I first came across Renapur leather balsalm at a show. I watched a demonstration of how it cleaned shoes. What I really liked about it was the way it brought the colour back to scuffed shoes - this was ideal for my children's shoes. I hated using the black shoe polish sort of stuff. Renapur is so easy to use - you just apply it with a sponge - that's it! Shoes look like new and the balsam feeds the leather and waterproofs it. It can also be used on jackets, coats, leather bags , purses and walllets, leather car seats and motorcycle clothing.
It costs around £10 for a tub - but it lasts absolutely ages - mine last me for about 18 months and there are 6 people in my household with a rugby playing son - we use it on his rugby boots.!! One pot will treat and protect up to 300 pairs of shoes.
Renapur Balsam contains only natural ingredients and no chemicals. One of the ingredients is Jojoba oil which penetrates and nourishes the leather, bringing back and highlighting the original colour. Another ingredient is natural beeswax - making the leather soft and supple. If you would like to try it you can order a travel size pot at 3.99 plus £2.50 p&p = £6.49
The only disadvantage is that this product is not readily available in shops. For this reason I order it off the Renapur web site at http://www.renapur.com It is easy to navigate the site and to order.... However, you do have to pay for post and packaging. You can also sign up for a newsletter and this contains lots of useful tips for using renapur balsam.
Renapur also do a number of other products including aloe vera moisturiser but I haven't tried that. Renapur often have offers on the site - at the moment you can buy one and get one half price - so just £15 for two pots.
