Advantages: Loud alarm, good food

Disadvantages: takes a longer time to steam than to boil, timer is fiddly

I bought my steamer about 4 months back. It comes with 3 food basket of varying sizes so you can stack them on top of each other. Each food basket is big enough for a medium size sea bass, and 10 chicken drumstick packed tight.

The steamer does steam almost every kind of food, even cakes. My food has turned out consistently well. The only thing is that I have to watch it when I am steaming something for more than 20 minutes as the water tend to evaporate quite quickly and if you do not fill up the water compartment, it can spoil the steamer.

The other irritating thing is that the timer is quite fiddly. The three buttons that I can press go straight to 1 minute, 1 hour or 20 minutes. I have to adjust from there accordingly.

The steamer does have a loud alarm though to tell you when the food is cooked and when there is no water.

It runs on 230-250 volts, 650 Watts.

Summary: It runs on 230-250 volts, 650 Watts.
