 Ryobi CAP-1801M One+ Right Angle Drill

The Ryobi is nowhere near as neat as the Makita drill and a ... more  ... bit bulky in comparison, this is partly down to the battery on the Ryobi sticking out from the bottom of the drill, with my Makita it fit inside the shaft thus not taking up and extra space.
I should however say that this is an 18volt drill as apposed to the 14volt Makita so the battery is obviously bigger and more powerful. Ryobi have thought about it to a point as the battery does swivel around to get it out of the way and this swivelling base has angles marked on it to help you drill accurately.

The first part of this review is the same for my other Ryobi 18volt + reviews as they all use the same batteries; I wanted to give a background on this system and my experience with it. I am a joiner by trade and having used many tools over the past 21 years I feel that the Ryobi 18volt plus system is very good quality for the money. Having used a lot of other makes such as Bosch, Makita, Dewalt, Metabo, Hilti etc, I find that as they are so cheap in comparison they offer excellent value added to that the fact that they are generally well designed and well made.
