Sainsburys antibacterial cleaner

Given that I do most of my shopping at Sainsbury's, it is inevitable that I buy most of my cleaning products from the store.

THE PROMISE...

This one promises to offer antibacterial protection against Salmonalla, Listeria and E-coli. All of this protection comes combined with effective cleaning power which will apparently cut through grease and grime.

PRODUCT AND PACKAGING

The clear product comes in a 500ml plastic bottle with a spray nozzle. There is a cap which can be closed when not in use, which just has to be pressed down to stop the product being accidentally sprayed. When the product is sprayed, it comes out as a fine spray and does indeed have an antibacterial smell. It makes things smell clean but not in a scented way, more of a disinfected way.

USING IT...

The product has no added colours and is safe to use on all washable kitchen and bathroom surfaces. It can also be used on highchairs and baby equipment.

To use it, naturally the front cover protecting the spray nozzle has to be opened. Turn the nozzle into the open position and spray the surface which has to be cleaned. The surface should be left to dry before food is prepared.

CAUTIONS...

*Keep out of the reach of children
*Avoid contact with skin and eyes and do not inhale the product
*Avoid contact with baby bottles and don't use as a sterilising agent.

VERDICT

This product is reasonably priced and easy to use. It makes surfaces smell really clean and fresh which is good, and is quite an effective cleaning agent although I don't know that I would fancy its chances if there was lots of grease and grime to cut through. I can't vouch for the fact that it does offer protection against those nasty germs because I can't see them; it does however smell as though it is disinfecting things, so I will take it as a given.

A recommended cleaning product for anyone wanting an anti bacterial cleaner.
