Advantages: Very cheap

Disadvantages: Too thin, tear easily.

I shop at Sainsbury's regularly as I feel they provide good quality products and I regularly buy Sainsbury's basics products with few complaints. However I was disappointed with the Sainsbury's basics refuse sacks.

~Pros~
The upside to these refuse sacks is the price, however you expect not too pay much for Sainsbury's basics. For 71p you get 30 sacks! That's 2.4p per bag. That is a good saving compared to other brands however there is a downside.

~Cons~
The problem with these bags is the quality and size. I find that for a large kitchen bin the bags either aren't long enough or do not stretch around the top of the bin. Furthermore they are very thin. Any sharp object would easy tear it, as would a heavy wieght. This does not make them very efficient refuse sacks. Perhaps they would work better if they were doubled up but I prefer to pay a bit more for thicker sacks tostop my rubbish from spilling onto the floor!

Summary: A good saving but not efficient.
