Advantages: OK for light rubbish; Cheap

Disadvantages: Rip very easy; Don't hold much weight

Me and my mum had a mad declutter today and as it was planned she brought a load of cleaning stuff and a roll of Sainsburys Basics black bags. Our plan was one 1 bag of junk out of every room and it was easier than we thought because these bags are very small!

They are thin as well. You can't put anything sharp or bulky in them at all because they will rip. When I sorted my sisters bedroom out I could only put 2 or 3 things in each bag because they were all big baby toys but there was tonnes of room in the bags and I reckon a stronger bag would have held more.

It was alright for bagging clothes up for the charity shop because they're soft but I noticed even then the bags stretched bad and were starting to rip a bit even taking them from the car into the shop. We didn't even bother with them when it came to getting rid of books and other heavy and sharp stuff and used our normal wheelie bin bags.

The bags are easy to open and I didn't have any trouble ripping the bags off the roll, none broke and that surprised me because I was expecting the perforations to tear weird because the bags felt so cheap!

The thing about these bags is that you have to use 2 for every one better quality black bag that you'd use. When I put one in the main bin it held the rubbish but I was proper careful to empty it before it got too full as you can tell it would tear if you made it too heavy. It shows how thin the bags are that I put my finger straight through one while I was putting it in the bin and then it was a right pain to get out.

I'm not sure how much they cost but I'm sure they were under £1.00 for 30 so I sort of recommend them for light rubbish but they're no good for the sort of heavy items we throw away, even a Cornflake packet ripped one of the bags! lol

Summary: Not Much Good For A Good Sort Out
