Advantages: Good price and soft texture

Disadvantages: Small rolls and thin paper is less efficient

Sainsbury's basics range aim to provide a good quality product but at a cheap price. Now the food products in this range I find are good value for money, however some of the household items seems to fall short in quality. For Sainsbury's basics toilet roll you get what you pay for.

~Pros~
Sainsbury's basics toilet roll is very reasonably riced at £1.26 for 12 rolls. That's 10.5p per roll! Agsin it's a great saving and the quality of the paper is very reasonable. It's soft but a little of the thin side, and there is lies it's downfall.

~Cons~
The only problem with this toilet paper is the rolls are rather small and I would say its like buying 6-9 rolls of the better brands that have larger, thicker rolls. Plus because the paper is thin you have to use twice as much when you go to the loo! I would say its worth getting if its just you in the house but if you live with others you may find the loo roll will disappear rather quickly!!

Summary: Not good for sharing with others!

We found it was better value for money buying more expensive toilet tissue as you didn't need to use as much then. Sam
