Advantages: works well and is cheap

Disadvantages: no safety nozzle

Cleaning any part of the house isn't something I enjoy, but is something I know is a must. Whilst I don't like paying some of the inflated prices that brand names charge for cleaning materials, I do however want to buy a product that I have faith in and know will actually do what it is advertising to do.
I bought the Sainsbury's own version of their bathroom cleaner one week when I couldn't find a branded name on offer. Unlike some other products this one doesn't boast antibacterial agents in its ingredients list. This is an important factor in my household, but I also know that I follow the cleaner around with the bleach bottle on areas that I insist get ridded of germs on a frequent basis.

The cleaner comes in a basic looking trigger spray bottle. It's white in colour with a blue label. There is nothing special about the appearance, especially compared to other brands that shout about nice smelling fragrance s and have their products colour co-ordinated in their packaging.
I don't buy a cleaner product for the smell, as long as it's not too chemically or makes me feel sick then I'm happy enough with it. Fortunately this cleaner is almost odourless, and I don't go into the bathroom hours later and still be able to smell it.

There isn't a child safety catch on the nozzle, just a simple twist action to turn the pump on and off, so please remember to keep out of reach of children.
I find it very easy to spray so I know a child won't have any trouble either.

The directions say that you should spray a liberal amount onto the surfaces and leave for a few seconds before wiping away.
I always find I spray more than I need and possibly leave longer than I need to especially on stubborn stains. I would do this with any product I bought not just a store own brand.
I am fairly happy with the result I get from this cleaner. Whilst I do try to stay on top of the bathroom cleaning, my teenage daughter makes it difficult for me to keep things sparkly white as I often find when I enter the bathroom with makeup traces everywhere.
With this cleaner, the removal of stains is almost effortless. I find it wipes through soap scum very easily, and it's only on the tile grouted areas that I sometimes have to scrub a bit harder to get my almost white areas back.

For the bargain price of 93 pence for 500ml, this cleaner will give me a good month's cleaning out of it from two bathrooms. I am more than happy with the performance it gives me both through price and cleaning. The only downside I can think of to add into the review to make it a bit more balanced is to say that it doesn't foam up too much. I like to see some suds as it makes me think that it is doing some work on my enamel.
As with any cleaning product you should read the packaging to make sure it's suitable for your home.

Summary: A great bargain cleaner
