Advantages: anti bac, cheap
Disadvantages: not very cost effectove
I have been going through a phase of buying wipes for the kitchen ever since my second daughter was born. I did this for speed and efficiency when needing to clean small areas.
These aren't the most cost effective way of cleaning, however they are one of the cheaper brands being a supermarket own make, and I think they do the job just as well as I've tried other brands along the way too.
These wipes are available in either lemon or lime fragrance. I usually opt for lime as I find the smell is slightly stronger than the lemon, but if you don't like to smell them then go for the lemon.
The wipes come in a packet very similar to baby wipes. There is a peel off lid that will re seal most of the time to keep freshness in and help the wipes stay moist in the packet. The packaging is fairly non descript to be honest but the green packet is for lime and the yellow for lemon.
I usually find they are easy enough to get out of the packet providing you can grab the end of the wipe with your finger. If they are not laid in the packet correctly then it can be a nightmare getting the wipes out.
A wipe is a decent size which covers my hand when it's spread out. You can tear them in half to get more usage out of them, but I rarely do this as I get a better clean with a whole wipe. They seem to be fairly good quality and I can usually give them a good workout when I find a stubborn stain that someone before me has neglected to clean up. I haven't had one tear on me yet.
They seem to be moist but not to the point of being soggy. Sometimes packs can have very soggy wipes right at the bottom of the packet, but I haven't found this yet.
The main reason I buy these is because they are only 94p for 40 wipes compared to more expensive brands at £1.78 for Dettol wipes for a pack of 28.
I also buy them because they are anti bacterial and claim to kill E-Coli, listeria, salmonella, and protect up to 12 hours.
They are a god send to me since having my daughter as they are so much easier to clean her highchair over with, or the table instead of getting a spray and sponge out, and then having to rinse and dry off afterwards if I make too much mess which I usually do.
With having a sneaky toddler running about they are also easier to keep out of her way, and get a job done in front of her without her trying to dip her fingers into the liquid on the surface I'm cleaning.
I find a pack of 40 wipes will last just over a week, and I will continue buying them over sprays for the time being.
Summary: an anti bac cleaning wipe
