... NO static on any of the clothes in the dryer, including the gym trousers that was causing me so much trouble. Now they are supposed to be scented and therefore make your clothes smell nice, however the sheet is rather thin, and my clothes didn't really end up smelling of anything. But I prefer this, since I wear fragrance this means there's nothing to interfere between the scent i'm wearing and my clothes. Like others have said however, getting a single sheet can be quite troublesome, but it's not as if they...more

Premium Review Sainsbury's Linen Fresh Tumble Dryer Sheets: Blue Linen Tumble Dryer Sheets! (426 words)

Sainsburys Blue Linen Tumble Dryer Sheets are sold in 40's from Sainsburys stores or www.sainsburys.co.uk for £1.49 and these are designed to be added to a wet load of washing when putting it in to the tumble drier to help give the clothes a nice scent and reduce the need for ironing by decreasing the amount of static in the tumble drier from synthetic fibres and fabrics. It states on the Sainsburys website that these will keep fragrance in your laundry for 6 days and will also help to reduce static cling. A sheet is designed to last for one full load in the tumble drier and they, of course, are very easy to use, just throw a sheet in with your wet washing and ...  Read the complete review

As the colder months of the year approach it is harder and harder to get the washing dry, if I put the newly washed clothes on a clothes horse they take forever to dry and drying towels is a nightmare. Sometimes I revert to using the radiators but if the radiators are covered with wet washing then it blocks the heat out, a bit of a no win situation really. Inevitably I end up using the tumble dryer, agreed it does add an element of dread to the electric bill coming through the letterbox but at least it deals with the wet washing effectively. When tumble dryer sheets first came onto the market I was as keen as anyone to try them out and ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Sainsbury's Linen Fresh Tumble Dryer Sheets: Big Disappointment (248 words)

Having a tumble dryer is a god send for me with four kids and animals in the house but it was only in the last year I started to buy tumble dryer sheets to put in with my laundry to make them smell nice and to help keep static under control so everything didn't stick to each other. The Sainsbury's tumble dryer sheets are really not very good. You do get a lot for your money, 40 sheets for £1.79, but they are very thin and are difficult to get out of the box in single sheets and I frequently ended up putting a few at a time in the machine as they wouldn't come out singularly. They smell quite nice when you open the box and when you touch them before ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review I've bounced back to Bounce (270 words)

With a toddler and a husband with a dirty job (as in covered in dirt!) the amount of washing and drying I have to do each week is unbelievable. In the summer things aren't too bad as I have got two long washing lines to get everything out to dry on, but come the winter time I am back to using the tumble dryer for a lot of my clothes. My husband always says that the clothes don't smell as nice when they have been dried in the tumble dryer as they do outside, so for a couple of years I have been using Bounce dryer sheets. These are extortionately priced for a sheet of smelly tissue type paper, so I decided that I would try the Sainsburys version ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Sainsbury's Linen Fresh Tumble Dryer Sheets: Eliminates static like a charm (248 words)

I had a couple of gym-wear garments made out of polyester, and every time I took them out of the dryer, it would be horrible and you could just feel the static all over it. I saw some dryer sheets in Sainsburys on sale for 90p (not these exact ones, but similar), and thought "why not?". The moment I took the same pair of trousers from the dryer, I was sold! There was virtually NO static on any of the clothes in the dryer, including the gym trousers that was causing me so much trouble. Now they are supposed to be scented and therefore make your clothes smell nice, however the sheet is rather thin, and my clothes didn't really end up smelling of ...  Read the complete review
