It comes packaged in a plastic bottle with a screw top lid which also doubles up as a measuring cap and I find this really useful as I can just get the bottle out from under the sink and not need to have anything additional to hand just to get this in to my washing machine. I never seem to use an entire capful but it is a handy way of getting the liquid in to the machine without any spillages. Sainsbury's basics fabric condit...more

Premium Review Sainsbury's Economy Fabric Conditioner: Fabric Softener At An Economy Price! (417 words)

Although I often use a 2 in 1 washing powder I have been known to also use Fabric Softener on top as I really like the feel & smell that it gives to my clothes & bedding. My current fabric softener of choice is the Sainsbury's basics one as it is very reasonably priced with 1 litre costing just 50p which is a bargain compared to similar products. I have found this bottle to last for around 15 washes as I use 60-80ml per wash and I always find this to be ample for softening clothes and giving everything a lovely clean, freshly washed scent. I believe the cap makes you use a little more than is actually needed so I normally just judge what I need based ...  Read the complete review

This was another of my "bargain buy's", it was on special offer when I first got it and I've been using it ever since! I've always used a fabric conditioner, as I feel that they really do help to make clothes feel softer especially towels! Prior to buying Sainsbury's easy iron conditioner I tended to buy which ever was on special offer! The conditioner, comes in a variety of "flavours", my favourite being verve , its a sort of lemony smell. The smell lasts for quite a while, but is not overpowering. It also makes clothes feel very soft especially towels. The conditioner comes in a concerntrated format so you only ...  Read the complete review

Sainsburys Basics fabric conditioner. Sainsburys now my local supermarket, as have recently moved right on their doorstep, and have quite a bit of time, to browse around their harlow store, and compere their products and their prices. Their Basic range is just that a basic product, which has a no frills package. I have brought a bottle of their Fabric conditioner which is concentrated, which means you need to use less because it is a stronger product and you get less for your money, because it goes a lot further. The Package ********** This comes in a plastic square shaped bottle, and has the product ...  Read the complete review

I noticed recently that Sainsbury's Economy range now do fabric conditioner and I couldn't believe how low the price was. For the large 2L bottle, it costs 35p!!!!. I thought that even if it wasn't any good, you can't go wrong really for this sort of money. I was surprised to find that it does actually smell nice, is the same consistency as other brands i have tried, when i imagined it to be very watery and it does work in that clothes not only smell good, but feel good too. Good old Sainsbury's get it right again and i will be trying out some of their other products in the Economy range. ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Sainsbury's Economy Fabric Conditioner: No frills, excellent product! (186 words)

If you like to see pretty pictures of clothes, fairies and bubbles on the label on the front of your Fabric Conditioner bottle, then don't get this. However, if you don't mind if there are no pictures on the label but are looking for a quality Fabric conditioner then get this! It smells very nice, the consistency is nice and thick and produces truly excellent results. Clothes are left smelling fresh and clean. It works great if used with Sainsbury's Economy (Low Price) washing powder, also a great product. So the price? 35p for 2 litres! You can't beat that. At least give it a try, and if you don't like it (I'm sure you will) then you ...  Read the complete review
