Advantages: Does what is needed with comfort

Disadvantages: Cat likes shredding it

Sainsbury's have created the ultimate in affordable luxury toilet tissue (hereinafter abbreviated to 'TT').

Having a low income I am always on the lookout for a bargain. I have in the past vetoed the idea of buying 'economy' TT as the paper tends to be too thin and the sheets too short for adequate hygiene.

This can of course be overcome by using twice as much of the so-called economical item. This defeats the object as unless the TT is less than half the price of a more suitable brand, it becomes no longer economical.

Therefore, in my opinion, you just can't skimp on TT. Other problems which occur when using cheaper paper are chafing, which is eliminated by using a softer tissue such as the brand I am going to tell you about.

Sainsbury's supersoft quilted is an excellent TT in several respects. Costing a mere 1.49 (sorry, no pound sign)for four rolls. It becomes economical in use as the thickness of the sheets, together with the quilting effect, help to avoid unpleasant residue from seeping through, without the need to wind it around your hand several times for this desirable result.

Sainsbury's loyalty card holders will currently be able to get a voucher for a 40p saving on a 4 pack if they swipe their loyalty card in the card swiping machine!

The TT is indeed super soft. Quite adequate for a sore nose to use when a streaming cold is present. Softer on your nether regions.

The colour range is basic, at least in the store I bought mine. White or er.. white was the order of the day. I suspect the range may well be a bit better in larger stores.

At the end of the day, your bottom doesn't really care what colour it is, comfort is far more important.

If you don't like the colour you could always provide some crayons for your guests to add their own individual design prior to use if they prefer. (gives them something to do if constipated). r>
Oh yes, 1 out of three cats prefer this toilet tissue. The other two don't care for any toilet tissue at all. Monty, my youngest cat, has mastered the art of shredding a whole roll of Sainsbury's supersoft quilted TT in the time it takes me to wash my hair.

It does, however, makes very pretty confetti, although a range of colours would have been better - Beware all of you owned by a cat(s)!

That's quite a skill that your cat has. I don't think I could do it in that time.
