A good buy. When two of the saucepans that had originally been my mum and dad's wedding presents and were handed on to us gave up the ghost after over 40 years of service, we decided to treat ourselves to some new ones.

We looked around some shops, but then decided to look in the Argos catalogue.

We knew that we wanted stainless steel, dishwasher safe and with a large (3 litre) saucepan. After looking at the catalogue and narrowing down out choices, we decided we also wanted stainless steel handles and glass lids, and so we picked the Satine 6 piece stainless steel cookware set plus steamer. This comes with a one litre milk pan (no lid). 1.5, 2 and 3 litre saucepans (all with lids). A five litre casserole and a 24cm diametre fry pan (one lid which fits both) and a 3 tier steamer.

At £49.99 you get an awful lot of pan's for your money. The quality is superb. The fry pan is really deep, and having a lid for it is really useful. I have never steamed before, so I tried it with some tired carrots that were sitting in the back of the fridge. They came out so fresh and sweet that even the kids loved them!

Not only is the quality and value good, but they look good too. If you can afford to spend the best part of £50 on saucepans, then this is an all round good buy.
