      Very helpful

A brilliant cheap cloth that really works

I got some cleaning products discount vouchers through the post fron Tesco clubcard, and to my amazement on arrival I found that many items, mainly branded ones were half price. So I spend quite a while sifting though the vast range to offer and also stocking up on my staple goodies that I adore.

I saw this Spontex Kitchen Wonder on special. I was buying cellulose clothes and the Spontex ones were also half price, making them considerably cheaper than the own brand ones I usually buy. The kitchen wonder was only £0.99p!
The E-cloth is considerably more than that, and seems to be the same kind of thing!

      What is it???

      They Say on the pack:

Spontec Kitchen Wonder combines all the advantages of a microfibre coth with the added benefit of an absorbent sponge centre. Ideal for removing water marks and grime in one wipe. The Microfibres latch onto the dirt and hold it tight.

So, thats what they say. Its actually a lightish blue padded cloth that has a quilted quality. It is very soft, and if you run your fingers along it its a little rough.....like running your fingers along the wrong way of velvet. Its about 8" x 6" and fits well in the palm of my hand giving me the ability to 'scoop' things up from the worktop etc. I started using it as a general cloth, without cleaning products as it says on the packet. I does a fairly good job. Less scrubbing, less elbow grease. But its when I used it with a tiny bit of cleaning product that it really came to life.

I no longer have granite worktops as waiting for the kitchen in this new house to be re-vampted. But having had granite worktops in the past, I would say that this would be by far the best cloth on them, will buff them up a treat.

I made a massive pot of pasta sauce today on the hob, and obviously spilled over and baked onto it a treat. Lots of tomatoe splatters all over the place and an amazing brownish black baked on bit around the main central ring! NICE. So I soaked it in Cif cream cleaner with a hint of bleach. It came off well and left loads if smears, water marks and general cleaning leftovers on the stainless steel. I used the Kitchen Wonder on it and was truely AMAZED. One wipe with it just slightly damp and it literally came up gleaming. That was it, it has wiping everything around the house.

      Its suitable for
      -Ceramic Hobs
      -Stainless steel

Can be used wet or dry with no need for cleaning liquid.
Vse wet for : Wiping and cleaning
Vse dry for : Polishing and Finishing

Each of the microfibre cloths is made up of thousands if tiny fibres, so the number of contact points with the surface is greatly increased compared to a standard cloth. Can be washed in the washing machine at 60 degrees, cannot be bleached or tumble dried and it states on the pack that no fabric softner or conditioner, bit dificult for me as I generally use fabric conditioner in all washes.

A fantastic little cloth. A Wonderfull addition to my cleaning routine. I have bought 2, one for use dry and one for use wet.
