Spring Force Toilet Tissue
Advantages: Excellent price
Disadvantages: Perhaps not being as thick as I was used to
In the current financial world we all need to try and save money and with me I like to try and save money when I do my weekly shop.
Food products are easy to find cheaper due to promotions all the time but toilet tissue paper is a more complicated procedure.
I have tried all the cheaper brands before such as the value ranges and whilst they are cheap they are poor in quality and more recently my local Tesco have begun stocking this Spring Force toilet tissue paper.
At first the price of £1.99 made me think was it worth taking the risk and trying it out so I did and I was glad I did.
There are 9 rolls in a pack and to be honest the pack is nicely designed to put you off that feeling it is cheaper toilet roll. There is a floral design which I think was the reason I brought it for in the first place it looked more expensive then it perhaps really is.
The paper is white and 2 ply and has somewhere around 200 sheets per roll but that must vary I would imagine and I have not got time to go and count because that would be really weird.
At first the roll looks medium in size I have had the expensive brands and they are extremely thick paper which requires very little to tidy up yourself and to be honest this paper on this toilet roll is not thin but it is not exactly super thick either.
There is a pattern on the paper sort of squares and diamonds and they are not etched where you can feel them they are just there. The paper is strong and to give people an idea of how strong it can be would be when I had nose bleed.
I could not find my normal tissue paper so the next best object was the toilet tissue and I managed to get about 10 pieces together and folded it over and held it against my nose which was pouring with blood (this happens sometimes).
No blood leaked through as you would experience with the cheapest toilet rolls and it managed to soak up the contents well. However, when it came to perhaps squeezing out the contents into an empty sink the paper did come apart slightly so it does hold moisture in but it can rip as well.
This toilet roll appeals because it is not expensive and it can be used for people with a cold and you do not see the paper rip open which is not pleasant when you are trying to clean your nose up and your finger pops through and you end up with the contents all over your hand, very yucky.
I did not find this toilet tissue rough in any way at all it felt very soft and perhaps the one problem overall would be if your someone who has experienced the expensive brands you can tell this is a cheaper toilet roll just by appearance.
My view is why waste money on a product you always either flush down the toilet or throw in the bin? I hate wasting money so now my Tesco has stocked this product it has saved me a bit more money. I would perhaps like to see maybe packs of 18 or 24 so it would perhaps last me longer.
Overall a great cheap product which will definitely assist people when it comes to saving money.
Summary: A cheap product
