Maybe it is because I am getting older, but recently I have decided that I should be kinder to my body and that means that I have switched my washing up brand to Surcare sensitive. I do not own a dishwasher so this is a product I am using a minimum of three times a day and one bottle lasts me a couple of weeks or more. It is a concentrated product, but I can be guilty of using too much. It costs me 95p for a 500ml bottle in my local Waitrose.

It certainly cleans my dishes and the glasses sparkle and I like the fact that it is unperfumed.

Of all the washing up liquids I have used (except the really budget brands- which were dreadful)- it is no better or no worse from the perspective of clean dishes and utensils.

The reason I would recommend is is because it is caring for your skin and I no longer want to wash up with a product containing dyes, which to my mind are unnecessary and this one does not have any.

Summary: Let's start saying no to unnecessary additives
