I love walking in my mums house when she has her washing on, sweet, fruity and floral aromas flow around her house and make my head whirl as if up in the clouds taking a breath of fresh air in heaven! I have never been fan of liquid laundry detergent but I am a firm fan of a bargain and as this Surf Small & Mighty was recently on offer in Tesco AND I had a money off token (double whoopie!) I thought I'd give it a try. Fragrance ~~~~~~~ This liquid detergent smells very strong in the bottle and almost made me sneeze when I first took a sniff. However, it produces a fabulous clean fragrance throughout the house when clothes are tumbling (I've got the tumble dryer on now and it's drowning out the smell of teenage boy!) and smells even fresher when clothes are dried on the line outside. Sunshine Lemons and Bergamot, are we talking Chanel, Dior or Guerlain ? Guess again ! In fact I am referring to the new Surf Small and Mighty laundry liquid, currently on offer in Wilkinson's at just under £2 for a 730ml bottle. Given that I can remember having to choose between Tide, Omo, Persil or just plain Surf powder these new and exciting laundry products prove a great temptation for me. All of us are keen to reduce the amount of energy we use and the amount of resources we use up...not just for the environment, but also for the costs, which continue to rise month after month! In our busy house (and there are only two of us) we usually have at least one load of laundry a day and at weekends, with work shirts etc, we can often do three or four loads. Surf Small & Mighty Sunshine Lemons & Bergamot is provided in a plastic bottle with a screw top lid which doubles up as a 35ml measuring cap to measure out enough liquid for one full load of washing. I usually use around half a capful because I never have soiled washing or any stains etc but if you had a heavily soiled load then a full capful should suffice. The liquid is pale in colour and fairly thick (because it's concentrated).
