I have started ensuring that I always use concentrated fabric softener after watching all the adverts about how it reduces carbon emissions by reducing the number of lorries on the roads. So I thought if I am going to use concentrated fabric softener, I should use concentrated detergent as well. That is when I decided to try Surf Small and Mighty.

This detergent is twice as concentrated as regular liquid detergent and so you only need one 35ml capful per wash. Each bottle is 730ml and so can wash 20 loads. It is tempting to add more than the one capful but one really is plenty. It washes a load well and smells really strongly when you take the clothes out of the washing machine.

Another bonus about the smaller packaging is that as well as helping the environment, it is smaller to carry if you do not have a car and smaller to store if you live somewhere where space is a premium.

It works brilliantly as 30 degrees so once again, great for the environment, and great for your fuel bills.

The only downside is that is it not non-bio. Having said that, my husband has sensitive skin so we tend to use non-bio, but this has not caused any reaction for him.

It retails at just under £3 but you can find it on offer quite regularly, probably because it is a concentrated detergent trying to break into the market.

I would highly recommend this. It might seem expensive but it lasts well, washes well and the fragrance really lasts.
