Buying detergent is a pain, there are so many that I tend to buy whatever is on offer as long as it's by a decent maker. I picked up this Surf small and mighty in the Co Op for £1.72 which was a great buy as you'd usually pay £3 to £4 for the bottle usually.

Twice concentrated, the 730 ml bottle boasts it does 20 washes, it advises one capful per wash. The bottle is neat, slim and pink accented, the scent is grandly advertised as 'Tropical flowers and ylang ylang' and it does indeed smell very soothing and fragrant.

Speaking of grand claims it does claim that it 'leaves a lingering fragrance that infuses your clothes and lifts your senses'...ahem.. hyperbole anyone? It does clean well but the scent does not seem to linger or infuse on my clothes, but then surely it's the cleaning that counts.

There's a lot of information on the reverse of the bottle in tiny writing, it says it is ideal for 30 degree washes and there's a guide about how much to use if you're unsure.

Comes in other scents, as the offer was good I bought the carnival burst and tangerine (where do they find these names?), it's in an orange accented bottle and smells of apples which is odd given its billing but very pleasant.
