Advantages: different fragrance, good product

Disadvantages: -

Does it really matter which powders, detergents, fabrics softeners you use to watch your clothes in? To some it doesn't, to other's it does! I have used various soap powders over the years, mainly on occasions when I have visited the local corner shop as opposed to the supermarket and they haven't stocked the brand that I use. I have used Bold and found it very good, however I eel that the smell that it leaves on your clothes is a little too overpowering, its nice to have nice smelling clothes however, too smell like soap powder is over the top.

To be honest my family always used Persil when I lived at home, however I tried several when I first moved into my house and have stuck with surf ever since.

Surf comes in various different coloured bright boxes which do to me stick out when I am looking for these particulars products. Each colour box determines the fragrances of that particular product, yellow for sunshine, blue for breeze and pinks for tropical. They have just recently introduced a very pale lilac too which smell of Lavender and is my favourite. It leaves you washing smelling great, however not too overpowering, i love the smell if I have had to dry my washing on the radiator as I don't own a drier, when I walk into the room, it hits you straight away and smells better than an air freshener. The Surf products now come with essential oils in them, which gives all their fragrances that extra zing when you actually wash them.

The product comes in two formats, powder and tablets, I use the powder as a rule however if I can't get the powder I will use the tablets just for a change, they are equally as good as each other. A box of surf of the packaging does say that it will get stains out of any clothes and that I agree, however it won't get the toughest of stains out, the likes of curry or red wine, i struggles with these and you do need an additional product to help you out when this happens, I swear by oxi-clean, another fantastic product.

With Surf I find that it leaves my clothes feeling very soft and on most occasions I don't tend to use a fabric conditioner as the powder does the trick just as well, i use fabric softener when certain things need ironing, an easy iron product as I am not a person for ironing at the end of the day.

I find these products vary in prices as well depending on where you are shopping, all part of supermarkets price promises I guess, however the cheapest I have seen it without it being on offer is £1.89 from Tesco, every where else it is over £2, but who can begrduge paying it when it is such a good product.
