I'm not exactly a domestic goddess. I fact, until quite recently I would buy whatever washing powder was the cheapest and I wasn't really bothered. Did it make my clothes clean? yep, well that'll do. But one fateful day either ASDA or Morrisons (I forget which) had Surf Sunshine on offer, and since then I have been a fan.

The Surf with essential oils range was first launched in 2007, and the Sunshine range has essential oils of Bergamot and Lemon. This makes your clothes smell all zingy and fresh, and the scent lasts on your clothes all day.

Surf also comes with the '99 stains' guarantee. It promises to remove 99 of the most common stains- or your money back although I have never had any problems with it getting my clothes clean!

I also think that Surf is generally quite good value: at the moment a 2.85kg box is £4.88 in ASDA. And that's quite a large box! It's often on special offer though, so there may be cheaper deals to be had!

I also popped along to the unilever website and found out that Surf donated funds to the Ogmore Children's Charitable Trust in Wales for new furnishings and renovations.

So what's not to like? It's reasonably priced, cleans well, smells lovely, has a money back guarantee and donates money to charity! Fab.
