Everytime I go to the washing basket all I can think is 'How much washing'. Each time it manages to amaze me as there as only three people in my house. As soon as Scarlet Ela was born I went from doing two loads of washing a week to what felt like two loads of washing a day. When I was pregnant my sister warned me the washing would double but I didn't ever think I would have this much to do. Unfortuanately when Scarlet baby was born she suffered with terrible Excema and as she has grown older it has not eased for her. Now I'm about to start College next month my mum is making me wash my own clothes - Boo! She says its good practice - I say I don't need it! ;) To wash my non-black stuff (not a lot of clothes there I might add then), I used this 'Surf with essential oils' which I was told cost £1.88 at the time of purchase. This biological washing powder is fragranced with 'sunshine lemons and bergamot' and does smell really nice when you first open the box. The bright yellow box itself is cardboard and has 950g of powder within it, and the write up states you can get ten washes out of the contents so that' pretty cool! The bergamot ... When it comes to washing powder or detergents for my washing machine, the brand that I have been buying of late is usually a supermarket-own brand as they generally offer better value and I find that the end result is about the same. That said, I will from time to time buy tablets or liquid, and am not loyal to any one brand in particular - I am very much influenced by the price of the product when it comes to making my purchase. I recently opted to buy "Surf with essential oils" biological powder, as it was on offer in my local grocers, and was priced at only £1.50, which was cheaper than any supermarket-own brand I would normally buy. ...
