Washing powders give another fine example of paying for a name. I use the Tescos 2in1 washing powder for my clothes, and find it no less effective than any other washing powder with a famous brand name. I find that the Tescos washing powder washes my clothes very well and leaves them feeling good too. Why do people use the expensive brands when they can have the same result with the cheaper ones?

Admittedly, I do use a little fabric conditioner just to give my clothes a little extra softness, but then who doesn't, even with the top brands??
