Advantages: cheap, works well on most surfaces

I am a regular user of Tescos Anti Bacterial Cleaner Spray purely because it is cheaper than the branded products of the same variety yet in my opinion it does the job just as well as the rest.

The appearence of the bottle is now different to that of the above picture. It is still in a plastic bottle with spray lid as above but the bottle is now transparent with a clear almost 'watery' liquid inside and the label has now been modernised to what it was and now looks more appealing compared to the bland picture above.

This Tesco spray is a multi-purpose cleaner and can be used on all surfaces. Simply spray and wipe. The spray produces a fine mist to ensure even coverage over the surface you are cleaning and I find this leaves less marks/runs on surfaces. The only slight problem I have had using this spray is when cleaning glass as in my opinion it tends to leave smudge marks and takes a lot of effort to get rid of them so I tend to use a specialist glass cleaner and save this product for every other surface.

It is great for kitchen surfaces and bathrooms as well as wooden surfaces though does tend to struggle with stubborn marks such as grease/fat on kitchen appliances and will only work well when used with a scourer rather than a normal cloth. When using on kitchen work surfaces and bathroom products though I find it cleans to leave a great shine with very minimal effort.

As the spray is released as a mist I also find you don't need much to cover a large area so a 500ml bottle can last a good couple of months. This spray at present costs around 81p in Tescos any is no different to that of the scented sprays of the same size/variety which cost twice the price.

The one real bug-bear I have with this product is the smell. It doesn't have an aroma as such but after a couple of sprays I find that if I inhale too much of the product it really gets down the back of my throat leaving me with a coughing fit and Im not one who suffers with any respiratory problems such as asthma so for those who do I really would use this sparingly, if at all and take caution if you do.

Summary:
This is a good cleaner, not the best but it is half the cost of branded cleaners. Brings out perfect results on kitchen worktops, tiles, porcelain and pvc but not so great on glass products or on really stubborn stains.

All in all you pay for what you get. Not bad but as my school reports used to say - could do better! I'd give it 3/5 stars. One lost for lack of performance on some household products, one for it trying to choke me!!!!
