I first used Tescos own branded Anti-Bacterial Floor Wipes on the recommendation of a friend, and have never looked back since. They can be used to clean a large array of floor surfaces in many different ways, making them extremely versatile and the results were fantastic.

~The Product~
A pack of Tesco anti-bacterial floor wipes contains 15 singular wipes. Each wipe is white, square and surprisingly large in size. The thickness of the wipe also surprised me. For the price I paid for these wipes, I expected them to be quite flimsy and fall apart quite easily, but the results proved differently.

Each wipe is tough and versatile. You can use by hand on the floor, attach it to a sweeper mop, or use underneath a broom and sweep along the floor in that way. I have so far only used them by hand but it took very little effort to get the desired results.

These wipes can be used on many different floor surfaces including tiles, laminate and lino amongst others (though obviously not carpet!). I have tested these wipes on all the above surfaces in my home and each one has come up looking like new after using these wipes.

These wipes remove dirt and grease with ease and can cover a large floor surface with just one wipe, such is its durability. You are left with a long lasting shine on your floor surface, but without it being slippy or wet so accidents aren't likely to occur.

The biggest test in my home for these wipes was the kitchen floor. I expected to use 2 or 3 wipes on this surface to get the require result but just one wipe managed to remove all dirt throughout the whole kitchen and left the surface looking cleaner than ever and by the end although the wipe was obviously filthy, it was still completely intact! It hadn't shred or fell apart, and believe me on my kitchen floor it had took some rigorous cleaning.

Each wipe measures an impressive 280mm x 230mm and has a hint of lemon fragrance to them. When used by hand I was pleased to find that they didn't leave my hands feeling dry, it had no effect on my skin at all, which I have had problems with before with other anti-bacterial products. The fact that it is anti-bacterial means as well as cleaning you know you are ridding your surfaces of germs and bacteria, so you know your surfaces are clean as well as germ free.

~Price/Packaging~
For a pack of 15 wipes, you pay the very economical price of just £1.00. In comparison a pack of Dettol wipes (pack of 15) costs £2.69 and I don't believe the results of the Dettol wipes could possibly be any better than the Tesco wipes.

The wipes come within a thick plastic sky blue wrapper with a re-sealable push back label, so you can keep the remaining wipes clean and moist after removing the wipe you intend to use. You must re-seal the pack completely though or the wipes have a tendancy to dry up.

~Other products~
As well as the anti-bacterial floor wipes, Tesco also do furniture wipes and surface wipes. The furniture wipes contain 24 wipes for £1.02 and the surface wipes are the same price as the floor wipes. The surface wipes for me are no different to the floor wipes, and I admit I have used the floor wipes over my kitchen surfaces too and they have come up well.

~Technical Info~
The usual safety information applies when using these wipes. Don't put them near eyes, wash hands after use, keep away from children and pets and don't flush these wipes down the toilet are the main warnings which come with these wipes.

~Summary~
I am really impressed with the results these wipes gave my floor surfaces. It took very little effort to get the desired cleanliness from these wipes and knowing that my floors are germ and bacterial free, give me that extra bit of confidence in my home.

They are cheap, easy to use and surprisingly durable for what they are. I highly recommend Tesco Floor Wipes for clean, safe floors around your home.
