Advantages: hygenic and convenient, good price
Disadvantages: none
Having an active 3 year old son, a sloppy near-16 year old teen daughter and a dog, I find that my kitchen normally looks something like a war zone with mud, food and drinks splattered in places you wouldn't even believe. I honestly don't know how they manage it. I found a piece of cucumber on my ceiling yesterday for goodness sake, turns out my son had threw it and it had stuck! I tend to get a bit bored of spraying with my bleaches and potions to wipe my surfaces/floors etc, so I thought I would give these wipes a try when I saw them in Tesco for just £1.50 (approximately).
The wipes come in a yellow plastic packet, pretty similar to baby wipes really. It was the colour of the packet that first caught my eye really. The wipes claim to be anti-bacterial so can protect against diseases caused by bacteria in the kitchen which I thought would be good to protect myself and my family.
The packet has got a sticky over-sized label that covers the open part of the packet where the wipes come from to stop the wipes from drying up.
The wipes smelt very strong of lemons which I really liked because I like the lemon freshness in cleaning. The wipes themselves are a good size, not too small that I end up putting my hand in whatever I'm cleaning. The wipes are thick enough, but not that thick so for some spills, it's a good idea to use two.
I use the wipes to wipe up paw prints, food/drink spills and general dirt if I see it. The wipes are very effective at removing the dirt from my surfaces/floors. You can also use these wipes in the bathroom but I haven't because I use other products in the bathroom. I've also ended up using them in the car for general spills and just to wipe over the interior of the car for a quick clean, the wipes are much easier to carry than a big spray bottle and cloth and they're very conenient to use.
You can get a smaller packet of about 80 wipes for 80p or the bigger pack of 160 for about £1.50 -ish. Both prices are cheaper than brand name cleaning wipes, but the wipes are brilliant for cleaning in the house, so I would only every buy these as apposed to the branded ones.
I think they're making supermarket brand items as good as the brand names these days, I don't know why people buy brand name products anymore because they're no better than these, just more expensive.
Overall, these wipes are definitely worth the money! I can't complain about these at all to be honest, they're great to have in the kitchen or bathroom cupboard, especially if you've got kids or pets!
Summary: I love these wipes for the house.
