Cheap but effective! (Tesco Bleach)

Following my recent cut backs on shopping I have tried this bleach and can honestly say I'm very surprised as I never thought anything so cheap would actually work.

At 28p for two litres, this is a fabulously cost effictive way of keeping your home clean. It also kills germs and removes stains in next to no time.

The bleach of the value brand comes in a white bottle with a red safety cap and the usual value label. My only complaint is that it is rather thin, but I guess that is why it says 'thin' on the label!!

Using is simple...

Toilets : Pour bleach around bowl to keep clean and germ free, best done at night allowing time to clean.

Clothes: Mix 50ml of bleach to 10 litres of water, soad and rinse thoroughly.

Cleaning : Use either neat or diluted on sinks and basins etc for a great germ free clean.

(Always use rubber gloves!)



This bleach is made with less than 5% chlorine and disinfectant. It can be dangerous if it comes into contact with the skin, eyes, clothes, enamels, furniture or other cleaning products.

Overall I thought that for 28p, I could forgive it's watery appearance as its probably the cheapest cleaning agent available. I never use bleach on my whites so I cannot say what good (if any) this particular brand does for your whites but I can say it cleans and disinfects just as well as the leading brands, for only a fraction of the price.

Tesco also sell their own thick bleach in different fragrances for 68p but i have not used this yet so I will wait and see how good it is!

Summary: Great cost effective way of disinfecting the home!
