Advantages: doesn't smell too strong

Disadvantages: not very attractive to look at but at this price....

2 litres of thin bleach for 27p (23/9) - I couldn't believe it - so in my basket it went as a change from domestos which costs at least 3 times more

I wasn't sure if it would do the job - but heck it's only bleach & at 27p if it didn't work in the house I could use it outside!

the bottle is a heavy white durable plastic with the familiar blue & red showing it's from the value range.

the cap is secure but easy to use and the smell when opened doesn't overpower your senses!

it IS thin but that's what it says on the bottle so it seemed a bit strange using this for the first time as I'm used to a thicker one.

I used it in the loo downstairs & 2 upstairs ones and although none of the toilets were very bad they did look cleaner when I'd used the bleach

I then cleaned the 3 porcelain washbasins - fine again - nice & clean & no marks

our kitchen sink is the worst one to clean & I don't like to use very strong-smelling cleaning products in the kitchen as it puts me off cooking

I use the thin bleach there & my sink has never looked so good - all the ingrained dirt came out as well as all the 'fresh' dirt & the place didn't smell like our local swimming baths!

I'm not sure what the difference is between using a thick bleack like domestos & a cheaper, thinner one as the results seem about the same to me. maybe the thinner one doesn't kill as much bacteria?

in future I will buy this tesco value bleach as it is easy to use, very economical , the smell isn't too strong & the 2 litres looks like it will last some time.

Summary: well worth a try
